Halloween Tournament at Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling Club
Yes, it is that time of year – Halloween, and just like many others in Newport Beach, more than 40 club members at the Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling Club held an early Halloween celebration on Thursday, Oct. 26. Costumes, food and drinks helped set the festive mood.
An eight-end tournament was held prior to the dinner, forming up into 16 three-person teams.
The event was organized by Cynthia Nolan with help from Norma Goodhart, Norm Bianchi, Jo Ramsey, Ginny Barrett, Carrie Reach, Rick Harrington, Mike Allen, Diana Wenzel, Lisa Milligan, Mark Coutee, Dennis Ring and Nancy Santos. A great big shout out to these volunteers.
