NBPD: The subject is bicycle safety

With bicycle safety becoming one of the more talked about issues in town these days, the Newport Beach Police Department (NBPD) will conduct a Bike Safety meeting for residents on Monday, Sept. 27, beginning at 6 p.m., at Ensign Intermediate School.

Topics that will be discussed include electric bikes, rules of the road, safety equipment, the NBPD’s enforcement efforts and the subject of preventing bike thefts.

Scholl policy requires attendees to be mindful of social distancing and to wear a mask while indoors on school grounds.

Ensign Intermediate School is located at 2000 Cliff Drive, Newport Beach.
